Dr. Rakesh Subhash Gosavi DNB Ortho, Dip. Ortho, FIJR pursued his medical education at the Government Medical College, Miraj (MBBS) and completed his Orthopaedic post -graduate training (Diploma in orthopaedic) from the prestigious Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedic and rehabilitation, Pune in 2016 which is one of the best single speciality Orthopaedic hospital across India under the guidance of Dr. K.H. Sancheti and Dr. Parag Sancheti
Subsequently, He completed DNB training in 2018 at Rajasthan University of health sciences and college of medical sciences, Jaipur and cleared one of the most toughest DNB orthopaedic exam in first attempt.
After completing DNB orthopedics Dr. Rakesh Gosavi worked as Lecturer at Sancheti institute, Pune for 2 years during period of 2019-2020 in emergency and trauma department handling all orthopaedic emergencies, fixing fracture and doing all revision trauma surgeries under the guidance of Dr. Chetan Pradhan who is Head of the department emergency and trauma services at Sancheti Hospital, Pune.
After Completing lecturer post at Sancheti Hospital Pune, Dr. Rakesh Gosavi joined Fellowship in hip and knee Joint Replacement at Prestigious Deenanath mangeshkar Hospital, Pune under the guidance of renowned Dr. Hemant Wakankar and Dr. Mahesh Kulkarni during the period of 2021-2022.
During his one year fellowship at DMH Pune, Dr. Rakesh Gosavi received extensive training in all aspects of Joint Replacement Surgery including primary and revision knee and hip replacement surgeries with Pune first advance MAKO-STRYKER ROBOTICS Joint Replacement system.
After fellowship he returned hometown in 2022 and is now successfully practising in Nashik with his 8 years of Experience.
After returning to Nashik, Dr. Rakesh Gosavi started his exclusive super speciality practice in Joint Replacement Surgery in Kare Renascence Hospital, Nashik as a full time consultant.
Simultaneously he is visiting Consultant at Ashoka Medicover Hospital and Janhit Hospital, Nashik.
Dr. Rakesh Gosavi is also working as Honorary Assistant professor at ACPM medical College, Dhule where he performs Joint replacement and revision trauma surgeries during his weekly visit (Thursday).
